Peter Max Revisits The de Young Museum, San Francisco
In 1967 the de Young Museum curated an exhibition of the public art of Peter Max that included prints, paintings, sheets, scarves, ties and the New York City phone book. In 2007, the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love, CAI organized a Peter Max exhibition for the de Young Museum that included the artists’ prints and paintings. The exhibition attracted thousands of visitors to celebrate this popular cultural event.
